The competition jury considered this group a unique phenomenon on Lithuanian jazz scene. In three years the city of Kėdainiai, which could hardly be named a jazz centre of Lithuania, has witnessed an emergence of an ensemble capable of contest with much more seasoned colleagues.

In the competition, Jazz 4 was recognised for its ensemble playing, impressive improvisations and youthful vitality. The ensemble performed Summer Snow, an original composition by P. Vaicekauskas and D. Sagaitis.

In past three years, the quartet took part in Džiazo fontanas competition in Panevėžys, claiming Grand Prix this year.
