Lithuania David Avetisyan - s ![]() Vilnius Jazz Young Power inspired the four young musicians to form a quartet. 13th grade are jazz tyros from the Vilnius Conservatoire and the Contemporary School Centre. The group presents D. Avetisyan’s composition Crooked Steps for the competition finals. David Avetisyan has studied jazz for three years, but already has garnered prize at the Džiazo fontanas competition. The saxophonist studies at the Vilnius Conservatoire. Danielius Skeivelas received music basics at the Ąžuoliukas Music School. At the age 15 he started playing guitar, and in 2016 entered the Vilnius Conservatoire. He has also won first prize in Džiazo fontanas competition. Lukas Yla collaborates with various formations at the Vilnius Conservatoire, experiments with guitarist Justas Daugininkaitis. The bassist and his colleagues earned recognition in Džiazo fontanas competition. He studies at the Vilnius Conservatoire. Augustas Genutis started his music studies at the Stasys Šimkus Conservatoire in Klaipėda. Currently he studies bass guitar at the Faculty of Arts and Creative Technologies in the Vilnius College. He composes and collaborates with representatives of diverse music styles in Vilnius and other cities of Lithuania. He has appeared in Klaipėda Jazz, Kaunas Jazz, Vilnius Jazz and Vilnius Mama Jazz festivals, won third prize in the bass category in the international competition Gitarų šėlsmas’17 (Guitar Riot’17). |
