Indrė Jurgelevičiūtė - voc
Formed ten month ago, the group has appeared in Grodno Jazz – Open Air in Belarus last summer. Trees’s members participate in a broad range of music projects.
For the competition final round the group presents Seashell by Paulius Adomėnas.
Indrė Jurgelevičiūtė graduated from Panevėžys music school where she studied the kanklės, sang in Gendrius Jakubėnas’ jazz studio, took part in Jesus Christ Superstar in Sweden. She spent several summers as a street musician (playing and singing) in various European cities.
Currently, Indrė studies jazz vocal in the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, and teaches at the Jazz Department of Liepaitės Choral Singing School (Vilnius). She plays the kanklės and flute, sings in acoustic duo with guitarist Marius Cechanovičius, has worked with Atalyja group, and took part in NOA festival and other projects.
Last year she appeared in Vilnius Jazz Young Power final round with Beatričė Baltrušaitytė’s collective.
Rūta Dirsytė studied guitar with Stasys Daugirdas, graduated from the Vilnius Conservatoire and presently continues her education at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.
Paulius Adomėnas switched to bass after trying his hand in guitar and piano. He graduated from the Vilnius Conservatoire and presently studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.
Paulius plays bass in Saulės kliošas, has worked with Made in April, Fuse Factor and The Chemicals among other groups. Last year he appeared in Vilnius Jazz Young Power final round with Beatričė Baltrušaitytė’s collective.
